Pandemonium 04:00
Pandemonium Whatever you say I'm against it. You know I'm a reasonable man You've got ten minutes to evacuate That's about as far as I've planned What we really love and do best Is pandemonium What we really love and do best Is pandemonium The Kennedies, Luther and Malcomn X They all got shot somehow And look at how and what they were saying Nobody's doing it now We're gonna go wild just like we were free Otherwise there's no point to the Pill At Windsor and Warehouse and Acid House raves Dancing like a fool on the Hill Narcissus was too inhibited Compared to us, he only liked I once wrote a story about what's going on And like my drink it was spiked They throw explosives at bishops in Lewis, England, on the fifth of November They dump folks in barrels and roll 'em down the hill It really is a night to remember Is this the EC? Or is this the UK? No! This is the third rock from the Sun The New Republic and what we say is What we really love and do best Is pandemonium What we really love and do best Is pandemonium

Eat your voice Everytime I hear your voice A salmon leaps it has no choice The Queen is driving her Rolls Royce Rose petals fall and we rejoice Gandalf’s dragon falls on us Locomotive is the ruch You know you want it so you must California or bust Little Italy: me and you sharing pesto and the view Petit France in late September something warm to remember China town where we can noodle in and out of steamy food halls This chevalier's made their choice. I just wanna eat your voice

Okay Man, Let's get Psychedelic Okay man let's get psychedelic and travel to the outer limits We're all worms made up of Now in time-sized units. To look at us as you must be in another dimension We'd be thinner at each end and fatter in the centre But then you would believe in destiny if you're looking back When the future seems so much more of a craic I'm gonna reach out and dance on the rain And blend into the sheen on each window pane Sparkle and tingle like dew on your neck Bring you up short. And you say: "What the Heck!" You're here! And you're there! Then you're in space Now you know where to go when the landing takes place I was watching the clouds shape into Raphael's "Welcome Of Alexander" among the wisps and curls Poor old Jo and Anna could only just see ducks Or the shapes of hippopotomi, they were having awful luck They could only see bath toys when looking at the tome When I was drowning in all the treasures that were Rome Let's fly to the moon or at least go to the Brioche Or go score some pies from the Felafel kiosk Somewhere in between the atoms floating in time Is the answer to a particular question of mine Consciousness. Focus. Having it all Now I like the rules I can play ball?

The Richest Man In The World Left the City in the morning, eighteen hours on the plane Land in Chita still yawning, but wait-up coz we gotta face Ten hours in a taxi driven by a man who's drunk As much as every other taxi driver, so we are stuffed But there was some relief. I don't mean to sound fickle Because now I knew (Iooked at his gold teeth) What became of Travis Bickle. He really liked loud Boney M and twenty cigarettes an hour Like being in the Wag Club in Former Yugoslavia I'm having lunch with the richest man in the world My petition polished and pearled I'm gonna meet the richest man in the world I wanna make my wife his little girl The Toyota Taxi bit the dust 200 miles from anywhere groovy. Then a car came roaring round the bend, It was just like in a movie Everybody was so happy (And it's a limousine, excuse me!) "Please give us a lift" I held my breath "Get in" he smiled "They call this 'The Road of Death'" It's 200 miles till we get to Crass He says: "Now tell me where you're going, if don't mind me asking?" I'm having lunch with the richest man in the world My petition polished and pearled I'm gonna meet the richest man in the world I wanna make my wife his little girl At eleven thirty pm. At gate 1K ten I'm following the guards who will lead me to my man It must seem really funny that a man so swell Must live his life in a prison cell So we were chitching-and-a-chatching When a fellow prisoners wife said could she Catch-up with the latest broadcast of Big Brother on his Tv She was really shocked to discover he only had a radio She was surprised that such a swell had fallen so very low. I'm having lunch with the richest man in the world My petition polished and pearled I'm gonna meet the richest man in the world I wanna make my wife his little girl

The Trip Where You Get To Fly Let me get you on my wavelength and I'll take you on a trip You'll be a little thinner And you'll feel a little hip On the hill intrepid warriors, friends, travellers, but lost You must bring them warmth and shelter Or they'll die of frost I forgot. You got the power to zap stuff and fly So jump out of the window quick Your mates are gonna die For fear to quench: buttocks clench dive into the dark You’ re in the right direction But too flat to hit the park Then as soon as you have thought it: you're flying at your friends Under attack from Burghers You'll have to make amends Don't forget you got the power to zap stuff and my See those burghers run real quick And all you did was try Amsterdam. You the man. Everything is yours Inside the Castle keep And on the sandy shore Time now for the party: celebration life Laughter stuck on faces I think I’m getting high Don’t forget you got the power to zap stuff and fly But don’t go bloody mad, You’ll just make people cry So, Friends get saved and those depraved Burghers all get zapped And everyone agrees That it’s good to have you back I got you on my wavelength and I took you on a trip You area little thinner You are a little hip I forgot, you ain't got the power to zap stuff or fly So if you jump out of the window My friend, you’re gonna die

Confusion is a ball You can't have it all Throw them in the air Who knows where they fall Suddenly the Autumn Wind picks up and dashes all the leaves And the fingers of the trees, point at the Winter Blue over the Mountain on it’s knees Confusion is a ball You can't have it all Throw them in the air Who knows where they fall Suddenly the Winter dark gets in, and mashes all my dreams And the branches of my life Reach to Winter death Beyond a fountain that will freeze Confusion is a ball You can't have it all Throw them in the air Who knows where they fall Suddenly the Spring sunshine cuts through and slashes smokey sheets And the buds upon the leaves Walk through the Winter deep Upto the lodge with walnut beams Confusion is a ball You can't have it all Throw them in the air Who knows where they fall Suddenly the Summer Sun is bright and y’know sometimes you can’ t see And the mulch you tiptoe on To avoid the Winter flu That blinds the woods with trees

ome kinda God took nothing and made the world Some kinda God circumcised the boys and girls Some kinda God or Some kinda church Some kinda punishment. Some kinda birch You do not have to have lived that long, maybe 24 To suss out that lots of things have happened once before And you begin to turn away - it all seems such a bore When so many things that happen seem to have happened once before Some kinda God made what we all enjoy Some kinda God taught us all to destroy Some kinda God or some kinda church Some kinda punishment. Some kinda birch You do not have to have lived that long, maybe 24 To suss out that lots of things have happened once before And you begin to turn away - it all seems such a bore When so many things that happen seem to have happened once before

I’ve been taking things for granted I don’t suppose you do Maybe I’ve not been well When you’re down it’s hard to tell If that last knock was the death knell I know this to be true I’ve been taking you for granted Because of the things you do You always ring my bell Though you’ve had a ;little hell With so much to sell I know this to be true Taking my songs for granted What a silly thing to do So I’ve changed things ‘round And I’m honour bound To sculpt words and sound I know this to be true

Sweet summer rain, laughing at the wind These are the memories I hold most dear But I’m so miserable right now It’s like you’re still here And now you come around here Boy you’ve got some face Acting like you was a member Of the whole wide human race When everything about you Is a total disgrace Hot, wet sex, there I’ve said it These are the memories I hold most dear But I’m so miserable right now It’s like you’re still here Do you remember we were paid to buy marijuana? These are the memories I hold most dear But I’m so miserable right now It’s like you’re still here Sweet summer rain, laughing at the wind These are the memories I hold most dear But I’m so in love with you It’s like you’re still here

The Kiss 05:03
And as she walked away, he felt like causing an affray Like in a helicopter, say, shooting a rhinoceros He felt the rumbles of a scream, she felt that she should cause a scene But she’d come a cropper. Hey! Who knows what’s to become of us So she stands and counts to ten. She can make the noise of two men “You tried to fool me!” “You never cared!” “Your need was biological!” “You silly Bitch!” he tells her crude. “You only love money!” Stupid and rude His comments are way over the bar. At least those I can recall. I love you and you love me too You know you do, oh yes you do You know I can’t understand how you always have a need right know! You’re so picky. Always busy. And you’re always full of spite Why do you make me feel so wrong? I can’t help it: all that longing Here’s the deal. I’m for real. And it can be hard to get it right. You don’t know what you’re saying. At least sober-up that’s what I’m saying Oh no can’t you see: that’s me and that I’m reaching out I’ve said things and I’ve been mistaken, Let’s avoid a confrontation I know it sounds strange, but I’ve got to change. And I’ll begin by speaking out It’s been three months and I can’t stop thinking. It’s been three months since I quit drinking It’s not very long. It still feels strong. And there’s so much love we missed As they spoke it stirred in my, like that little bird, you see Passion is still in fashion. And it’s been three months since they kissed Some say a kiss is just a kiss. Kiss gainsayers all be dissed On my list. Tattooed on fist. Wanna be sealed with a kiss Some say a kiss a chance at bliss. A kiss like this cannot be missed Never was a cold kiss. Always is a bold kiss. Seeping thru your veins this rock n roll kiss

Someday 05:57
They say I can't climb no mountain They say I can't climb no tree They say I can't climb no fences Well that don't make sense to me Someday let freedom reign In the State of Alabama Someday let freedom reign In the Borough of St Paul's Someday let freedom reign On the streets of Burma Someday let freedom rain I’m gonna break down on these walls And so I stand next the mountain And I stand next to the tree But when I'm stand next to the fences It just don't make sense to me And so I climbed the mountain And I climbed that tree And now I'm gonna climb the fences Everybody come with me And so we climbed the mountain Then we climbed that tree And now we’ve climbed the fences Now it all makes sense to me

PANDEMONIUM by The Three Radicals

A Vinyl Double Album

A collection of songs made in Devon

“You may be reading about one of today's most extraordinary musical statements. It says: “We're here. Let's dance and be joyful” Starting with PANDEMONIUM, like they do live, you begin to get interested: Is that what we do best? Who's that guitar player? This primer is followed by EAT YOUR VOICE. The song gives me a great opportunity to name check unusual percussion. But I shall pass and move on quickly to OKAY MAN, LET'S GET PSYCHEDELIC, which is barnstorming, like a tornado. Which is what seems to be brewing in SHE'S MAD AT ME (a steal from Pink Floyd if ever there was one). OWE US A LIVING! is definitely a song with message, though I don't know what it is. THE TRIP WHERE YOU GET TO FLY, and if you close your eyes you do, takes us to lunch with THE RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD (turns out he wants to marry the daughter). Just before you burst with excitement it pulls back to the charming poetry of CONFUSION IS A BALL. DEJA-VU contains the album's longest vocal note. What niche would you put...well the song is called TAKING THINGS FOR GRANTED... which starts with Tudor stylie mandolin. That may not read as good as it sounds if you come from Gomorrah. For the rest of us it's shear delight. How do they do it? No time to think because that's the end of Side 3. (It feels great writing that). And so to the finale. SWEET SUMMER RAIN reminds us that these guys are human. Then you're run over by SOMEDAY - that great reggae stylie one of theirs. You remember - “Some day ay ai!” CLAP-CLAP follows, which may be a response to the timeless Zappa instrumental The Clap, but sounds suspiciously like a message song. Travellers are pioneers! Whatever next? And who is that guitar player? WE ARE GOD is always the last song. Apparently written by Horus it echoes love down the ages and should leave you smiling and ready for a return to Side 1”
